We will contact you with packages and pricing available in your area. If you decide to sign up, a TexaNet Internet Services representative will schedule an installation for you.
- The total cost to get started is the current months prorated cost (the rest of this month), a month in advance (next month) and $99.99 installation charge (for normal install*).
- TexaNet Internet Services schedules new installations either morning 8am-Noon, or afternoon 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
- On the day of installation the technician will need access to both the inside and outside of your house. They will go over the installation process before any work is to be done. They will install a small 9" x 9" radio on a mount (similar to a satellite dish mount). They also need to drill a 3/8" hole to bring the wire from the radio outside into your home.
If you have a laptop, tablet, smart phone, or any wireless device, you will need a wireless router, which is available at any major electronics retailer. Routers or WiFi equipment are not included or provided by TexaNet.
* Installation includes up to 2 hours with 50 feet of Ethernet cable. Installations exceeding 2 hours and/or requiring additional materials will be incur added fees $75.00/hour will be charged.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT: TexaNet Internet Services will provide you with our Tier III QoS package which includes telephone support from 9am to 5pm CST Monday through Friday (holidays not included). Service calls which require on-site service/repair calls will be scheduled within 3-5 business days, or sooner depending on tech availability. These calls are at no charge to the customer if the problem is found to be in TexaNet equipment; if not the standard service fee of $75.00/hour will be charged.
WARRANTIES: TexaNet Internet Services provides actual bandwidth availability as specified on our published price lists; speed provided is “up to” and not guaranteed to be available at all times. This means each user account has the full availability of the identified bandwidth subject to the limitations of the user’s equipment or the server you are connecting to and occasional service problems beyond our control.
